My Story

I am taking on a challenge and fundraising on behalf of Medical Detection Dogs!

On the 4th May, I will be running 15k to celebrate 15 years of life saving work. I will be starting in Westcott, the where the charity first began, and running to the new centre in Great Horwood!

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to save lives using their amazing sense of smell.

Dogs are the best bio-sensors. They can detect odours as tiny as a teaspoon of sugar in 2 Olympic sized swimming pools.

With your help we can train more of these amazing dogs, so our Medical Alert Dogs can help more people with complex healthcare needs live safe in the knowledge they have a furry life-saver by their side and do more research to give medics the tools they need for faster, more reliable, non-invasive diagnosis of cancer and other diseases.
